suits and haircuts

Uncle Luke and soon to be Aunt Missy are getting married in January. They bought the boys these matching outfits! They look so handsome in their suits. I put Seth's on first and Andrew says " Seth, you look so handsome!" After I put on Andrew's he says " I look so good!" I had to laugh. Although he is so right!
They also got haircuts last night so they look older with their hair buzzed. My handsome boys!

Is loving my "new" kitchen...

We got a new table from a friend of my grandparents. It is so nice and matches wonderfully with our floor! The kitchen looks so different from when we first moved in. I love it!

Christmas Lights!

I have never had Christmas lights on the outside of my house growing up so this year I was excited when Zach said we could get lights this year! After putting them up Andrew says "our house is the bestest house ever!"

Quiet Play

Most of the playing that goes on in our house is not so quiet. It was so nice the other day while I was getting some stuff done around the house the boys had brought some toy up and were playing so nice. I hope since they are getting older this will happen more often!

They love lining things up!

Thanks Sarah!

My cousin Sarah of Sarahnebelphotography came and helped me fill this wall in my house! I love it! It looks wonderful! If you want to see it up close, feel free to come visit me!:)

Soft Pretzels...YUM!

These are Andrews favorite! He asks me to make them all the time! He even wanted them for lunch today! I have to agree with him. They are pretty yummy!

This is what kind of cheese we eat them with.

Here is the recipe.
3 1/2 C. flour
2 T. Sugar
1/2 t.salt
1pkg. dry yeast
1 C. water
1 T. margarine
butter
coarse salt
Mix 1 C. flour with sugar, salt, and yeast. Heat water and margarine to 120 degrees F. Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat with electric mixer for 2 min. at medium speed. Add 1/2 C. flour and beat at high speed for 2 Min. Stir in enough additional flour to makea soft dough. Knead dough over to grease all sides. Cover with damp cloth, and allow to rise for 40 min. in a warm, dry place. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a 20 in. rope and shape into pretzels. Place on greased baking sheet...or a baking stone (which I use). cover and let rise for 5-10 min while preheating oven to 375 degrees. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with salt(optional). Bake for 14 min. We like eating them when they are warm out of the oven!

Halloween treats.

Zach and the boys went to walmart to look for halloween candy that was on sale. Along with lots of other sugary treats they brought home pickled marshmellows that looke like this! It made me laugh!

This is one of two that they bought. Andrew was eating the other one for a treat and while he was eating it this is what he was saying...
"don't eat my eye" (he bites off an eye)
"ahh nooo my eye"
"not my other eye" (bites the other one)
"Oh no, my nose" (bites off the nose)
and so on and so forth...It was so funny to listen to. He didn't eat the whole thing but the eyes, nose, mouth,"shoulders", and part of the head were all eaten.

Wordless Wednesday.
